Russell Tyrone Jones (November 15, 1968 – November 13, 2004),[1] best known by his stage name Ol' Dirty Bastard (or ODB), was an American rapper and occasional producer. He was one of the founding members of the Wu-Tang Clan, a rap group primarily from Staten Island, New York that first rose to mainstream prominence with their 1993 debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).[2][3]
After establishing the Wu-Tang Clan, Ol' Dirty Bastard went on to pursue a successful solo career and contributed as a rapper/producer for the Fugees.[4] However, his professional success was hampered by frequent legal troubles, including incarceration. He died on November 13, 2004 of a drug overdose, two days before his 36th birthday.[5] Prior to his death, Jones managed to record his third solo album, which remains unreleased.

Group home
Group Home is a hip hop duo, composed of members Lil' Dap (birth name James Heath) and Melachi the Nutcracker (birth name Jamal Felder).[1] They came to prominence as members of the Gang Starr Foundation. Lil' Dap made his rhyming debut on Gang Starr's 1992 classic Daily Operation on the song "I'm the Man".[1] Both members appeared on Gang Starr's critically acclaimed 1994 effort Hard to Earn, on the tracks "Speak Ya Clout" and "Words from the Nutcracker".[1] In 1995, the group released its debut album, Livin' Proof.[1] The album was very well received, mainly due to DJ Premier's advanced production work, described by Allmusic as "rhythmic masterpieces".[1][2] A second album A Tear for the Ghetto was released in 1999, this time with only one track produced by DJ Premier.
